Laura A. McGeachy, Esq.,
Laura Allen McGeachy is a dedicated and detail-oriented attorney who was admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut in 1996 and State of New York in 1997.
Laura graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University with a concentration in legal studies. She received an International Law Certificate from University College London and graduated with honors with a Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law. Initially, Laura practiced in the area of insurance defense litigation in New York. Thereafter, she honed her skills in the general practice of law encompassing a wide variety of areas including family law, commercial and residential real estate, estate administration and probate litigation as a senior associate working at several regional law firms until branching out on her own as a solo practitioner in 2009.
Laura is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, and a member of the Family Law, Real Estate, and Land Use sections of the Fairfield County Bar Association. She is a former co-chair of the Women-in-the-Law committee of the FCBA from 2001-2018. Currently, Laura is a current board member of the Stamford Gaelic & Celtic Club, Inc. and the Irish American Cultural Society of Stamford, Inc.
A native of Greenwich, CT. Laura currently lives in Stamford, CT with her husband and two daughters. She is active in the greater Stamford community and her children’s schools.
